We are delighted to have been involved in the €12m restoration of the iconic Dublin landmark Bewley’s Grafton Street, the premises has reopened and offers seating for 500 customers.
Irwin Carr were involved in carrying out reverberation time testing on the site before and after the installation of the Rockfon Mono Acoustic ceiling.
We were able to determine the additional absorption provided by the new ceiling from our measurements and we can show the acoustic ceiling reduced the reverberation time from 1.1 seconds to 0.7 seconds which represents a 35% reduction in sound reverberation.
