Irwin Carr are currently providing a series of 10 half day training seminars to the Environmental Health Officers from:
- Mid and East Antrim
- Causeway Coast and Glens
- Mid Ulster and Antrim
- Newtownabbey Councils
The complete training package provides an overview of Environmental Health’s role as a consultee to the Planning Authorities and specifically focuses on a range of topic areas including, renewables, minerals, waste, residential, agriculture etc.
Chris’ wide experience in environmental protection assessment and the planning system allowed him to reference examples of both good and poor practices, providing both depth and interest to the presentations. Feedback from the first 7 modules has been very positive, with the Councils looking for additional topics to be covered in the coming months.
