Waste Facilities
Irwin Carr has been repeatedly commissioned to support planning, licensing, and operational changes at waste facilities across Ireland. The work is primarily focused on environmental noise, vibration, air quality, and odour impacts, typically to support:
- New waste facilities
- Changes to permitted throughput or tonnage
- Further Information (FI) requests from planning authorities
- Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR / rEIAR)
- Validation of compliance with licence or planning conditions
This experience spans waste recycling centres, waste transfer stations, waste‑to‑energy facilities, anaerobic digestion sites, and CHP / thermal treatment facilities.
